The Manor has the cool, clean style of Frank Lloyd Wright set in an acre of secluded garden in the smartest residential quarter of New Delhi. This is a newly renovated hotel conceived by a well-travelled husband-and-wife design team whose only knowledge of hotels comes from personal experience. So standards are exceptionally high and set solely with you in mind.

It is one of Condé Nast Traveler's 21 top hotels for 2000 and one of a Tattler's 101 Best Hotels. The design feeds off an international vocabulary, a seductive blend of contemporary chic, traditional skills and local materials - silk, terrazzo, onyx, deep green granites and rich, dark woods.

The aim is to take the stress out of travel in unfamiliar territory. The food is expertly prepared to your own taste, a car can be included in the cost of your stay, the ice cold bottled water is complimentary and tipping is taboo.
