This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Travelovista, Inc./Travelovista.com ("Travelovista") does not own or control, or to people that Travelovista does not employ or manage. Our web site also contains links to other sites. When you click on one of these links, you are entering another web site for which we have no responsibility. We encourage you to read the Privacy Policies of all such sites as their policies may be materially different from ours.

Information Collection and Use
We do not collect personal information when you visit our site unless you request any of our products/services, place an order, or subscribe to our Newsletter. We may share general demographic information with advertisers and associates as aggregated information that cannot be used in any way to identify you.

• Feedback
  When you submit feedback or questions via e-mail, or contact us for information, we require your name and e-mail address. This information is only used to respond to your inquiries.
   
• Newsletters
  You have the option to signup for our Newsletter and receive the latest Hot Deals, special offers, travel news, web site changes, additions/modifications to our products/services etc. by email. Your email address is, therefore, necessary. Your name is only used to personalize the Newsletter. However, you may always decline to receive these email messages. Please see our Opt Out policy described below.
   
• Recommendations
  When you Recommend a page on this site, or the entire website, we require your and your friends' names and email addresses. This information is used to send the mail to your friend(s). To monitor possible abuse, a copy of the mail is sent to us. Travelovista will not attempt to contact you or your friend(s) for bona-fide usage.
   
• Registered Users (Members)
  We have two broad categories of registered users - Customers and Travel Partners (Hoteliers, Travel Agents, Tour operators, Transport providers). During the FREE registration process, we ask your contact information, a unique login name and password.  This information is used to assist you by pre-filling form, and to allow us to contact you, if necessary. In addition, your email address is collected to send you an email message confirming your login details to the Members Area, and to remind you of your login details if you forget them. As a Registered User you will receive our Newsletters (see above). Of course, you can Opt Out of our mailing list anytime you wish.
  • Customer-specific information:
    To confirm travel reservations and to generate your Service Voucher, we also require the traveler's name and unique photo identity information. This is used by the service providers, such as hotels, to verify the guest's identity. You will be asked for your credit card details only if you choose to pay so. Credit card processing is done at FirstPaymentGateway.com - our Payment Gateway Solution Provider. We do not store your credit card information with us. 
     
• Cookies
  A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent from a Web server to your browser and stored on your computer's hard drive. Each web site can send its own cookie to your browser, if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a web site to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.

  Travelovista uses cookies in several ways, including:

  • To enable you to shortlist hotels and other services, and to retrieve the same when you click the Cart link.
  • To track usage/preferences, so that  we can provide you with customized content and advertisements.
  • To allow you to login without having to type your login name each time. Instead, only your password is needed to access the system. 

  We never use cookies to store sensitive information such as credit card numbers. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you prefer, you can configure your browser options to to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set. Please be aware that certain Travelovista services may not be available to you if you block cookies.
   

• IP Addresses
  Our web servers automatically record your IP address, Travelovista.com cookie information, and the page you requested. This information is collected for statistical and diagnostic purposes only.
  

• We have your consent to share the information.
• We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested. For instance, when you reserve hotels, we have to share your information with the concerned hotels, travel agencies, airlines, car rental agencies, or other involved third parties to ensure the successful fulfillment of your travel arrangements.
• We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process.
• We find that your actions on our website violates our Terms of Service, or any of our usage guidelines for specific products or services.
